Happy Palindrome Day! A palindrome is anything that reads the same forwards and backwards. That last palindrome day was 10/02/2001. The next one will be on 11/02/2011. Before 2001 we hadn't had one since 1380! In much of the rest of the world, however, where they put the date before the month, palindromes occur much more frequently. In North America we will have only 36 palindromes in this millinnium, while in Europe they will have 60!

I prefer words as palindromes, though, since I don't care much for numbers and have always liked words. Here are a few palindromes in English:

radar
tenet
rotator
rotor
kayak
racecar
Think of some of your own!
