Ch- ch- changes

September 10, 2010

I was away from my two blogs for a week because I just moved to a new apartment! All right, it's a bigger apartment for lower rent! I really am thrilled not to be crammed in one room. Especially with a roommate . . .

I love our new place: two whole rooms! And three times the closet space! My man doesn't understand why I have more clothes than him. Uh, because I'm a woman???

There are more changes on this blog, too.

Yes, I have changed the template again. I'll confess. I am a template junkie. Is there rehab for this??? Template Addicts Anonymous?

I just love playing with templates. I sometimes spend hours messing around with different templates. I just might learn how to create templates someday. I certainly have learned a great deal about HTML (HyperText Markup Language). In the meantime, I just like green better than purple (which was the color of my short-lived previous template). Also, you see the whole face of the cartoony girl in the header.

This current template fascinates me because when you open the blog, the title changes fonts and sometimes shifts to the side. Since I'm passionate about fonts, I find this interesting. I love to play with fonts on Photoshop! I really love the templates at
A Blog to Brag About. Jessica is a very talented designer!

I have installed
Intense Debate on comments for this blog. It will only work on new posts (well, it will eventually work if I installed it correctly). I didn't install it on all the posts because I was afraid that the comments on my previous posts might be lost. Has anyone here used Intense Debate? Does it work? I've been curious about it for awhile. We shall see . . .

  1. Well the blog looks great. And if there's a rehab for switching templates very often then please let me know. I would have to be admitted right away...LOL I'm glad you like your new place. I recently moved as well so i know how you must feel. Have a great weekend and keep up the good work with the blog.

  2. @Bookventures -- Yes, that template addiction is a hard one to break! And I do love my new apartment . . . especially once I finish unpacking.

  3. Wonderful template change! I love changing things around at home. This will soon transfer to my blog, I'm sure :oD

  4. @Teacher/Learner -- I know what you mean. I'm forever moving furniture around to shake things up a bit!

Blogging is also so addictive, and having just the right template is important.:)

  5. Hi, great blog and very nice looking. I'm a new follower from the bookblogs.ning

  6. I love your new template. New templates are like buying new shoes....AWESOME!

  7. @Lesley -- New templates are fun! Just like shoes (or a cute top or new handbag or . . .)

  8. I love comments too... and for some reason the people who read my blog(s) prefer to EMAIL me to make comments. Go figure. Anyway, in the words of Arnold.... I'll be back.

    I sense a kindred soul!

    See you around...

( and among others. Is there a Bloggers Anonymous too?

  9. I HATE anonymous comments. And, mea culpa, the last 'anonymous' was me. It 'sent' while I was typing in my account name. Grrrr.

    Anyway, see you around. :)

  10. Hi Bobbye (Anonymous). I've hit the send button too fast, too! Anyway, I'm so glad to meet a kindred spirit!
